While serving on the board of a small biotech company, ASEA founder Verdis Norton became aware of a revolutionary technology that complements the body's own potential and can support various aspects of well-being.
Inspired by the potential impact on humanity of transforming this technology into a nutritional supplement capable of revolutionizing well-being and positively influencing the energy and vitality of people around the world*, Verdis acquired this redox technology. The new company was named ASEA, inspired by the constant cycle of rejuvenation and rebirth that originates in the ocean.
After extensive research and laboratory testing, ASEA found a solution for integrating redox technology into products that could then be offered worldwide – and with unlimited effectiveness.
These groundbreaking innovations were just the beginning.
2007
Discovery of a life-changing technology

ASEA founders Verdis and Tyler Norton recognize the potential of the revolutionary redox technology developed by a biotech company and acquire it for themselves.
2008
Redox potential
in bottles

A research team spends months finding a way to scale up U.S. production of the redox signaling potential, which had previously only been produced in small quantities, in a shelf-stable form. This innovation ultimately delivers the first cell signaling supplement in the United States.
2010
The company
picks up speed

The project is gaining momentum as ASEA begins operations in Salt Lake City, with hundreds of participants attending our first leadership summit and incentive retreat.
2012
Global expansion = increased impact

In 2012, ASEA markets span the United States, Canada, Italy, France, Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Norway.
2013
In-house production capacity

ASEA opens the Redox Center, a state-of-the-art, FDA-listed* and NSF-certified** manufacturing facility in Utah that produces our revolutionary redox technology in-house.
*The US Food & Drug Administration is the federal agency that regulates food, drugs, medical devices, and other products.

2014
RENU28® Revitalizing Redox Gel combines redox technology with body and skin care

ASEA launches its first versatile, all-over body priming gel to prevent skin aging and regenerate skin cells.
2015
Launch of the Advancing Life® Foundation

As a people-centered and people-driven company, we are establishing our humanitarian non-profit arm, the Advancing Life Foundation, with the goal of funding and implementing impactful projects around the world to break the cycle of suffering, poverty, and abuse.
2016
RENUAdvanced® skin care line for better skin care

By combining simple, pure ingredients clinically proven to promote the regeneration process of skin cells, the RENUAdvanced® Skin Care System Cleansing Foam, Serum, and Moisturizer complement the redox benefits of RENU28® to promote a healthy, younger-looking complexion.
2017
ASEA moves to a new, state-of-the-art headquarters

ASEA celebrates the opening of its new headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The 4,645-square-meter facility is less than two kilometers from the company's manufacturing facility, built in 2013.
2018
Market launch of ASEA® VIA® dietary supplements

ASEA lays a foundation for long-term well-being with its three new nutritional supplements: ASEA® VIA® Source, ASEA® VIA® Biome and ASEA® VIA® LifeMax.
2019
ASEA® VIA® Omega strengthens the product range

The new Omega supplement is launched with great success and complements the other ASEA products with its unique formula to strengthen the heart, brain and eyesight*.
